Our Program is designed for children
entering Grades 1 to 6
Join us for 1, 2, or 3 weeks of  
Hands-On Arts Summer Camp in
Pagosa Springs, Colorado... June 2017
Dates:  Monday thru Thursday      

Weeks of       June 12-15       
                    June 19-22
                    June 26-29

*TIMES*       9am-1:00pm  
    Students can be dropped off just before 9 (8:45), we begin promptly at 9.

Tuition based on your needs...         
1) Tuition/1 child:     $120 per week ($10 
    off per week if registered by June 1)

 2) Family discount  $10 off each
     additional child per week 

 3) Sign up for 3 weeks and get 1/2 off for the
     3rd week

**Students need to "Dress for Mess" and wear older clothes and they need to bring a snack, water, and a good Art-a-tude!

    For the love of Music
Every week kids will have an opportunity to meet a local guest musician.  Students will participate with song and instrument and learn of many different types of music.  

Students will learn about other cultures and how dance, movement, music and art all tie in together in their communities.  
 Art Projects in June...
Week 1:  June 12th-15th

 Art Teachers Fave Projects

In this class our little Artists will get to do art based on the Art Teacher’s favorite projects…Mini horse sculptures, Silhouette jar lights, & Collage Memory Music Box.  Students need to bring their favorite photos (which will be copied) to create a memory box.

Week 2:  June 19th-22nd
Walk like an Egyptian and dance to an African drum
Students will create are work from ancient Egypt... be prepared to get mummified!  Also, students will create art from all of Africa.  Students will make mummiforms, African Masks and Batiks.

Week 3:  June 26-29th

Native American Art
This last week of Hands-On, students will be creating artwork from different Native tribes and the their styles of Pottery and art works.
